About the Role
The Renov Team, a national leader in home improvement and remodeling services, is seeking diligent and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our dynamic team. Our Cleaners play a vital role in the post-renovation process, ensuring that each project is polished to perfection and presented in the best possible light to our valued clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks at various job sites, primarily post-renovation or construction clean-ups, to prepare homes for client turnover.
- Use a range of cleaning supplies and equipment to remove dust, debris, and stains, ensuring spaces are spotless and hygienic.
- Carefully handle and clean delicate surfaces and fixtures, following specific guidelines to prevent damage.
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to schedule and meet The Renov Team's standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of protective gear and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Inspect completed work, ensuring that every area meets the cleanliness standards set forth by The Renov Team.
- Provide feedback to management on any issues encountered or supplies needed, maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Represent The Renov Team professionally on-site, wearing appropriate attire and interacting courteously with clients or other contractors, redirecting any project-related inquiries to the appropriate team member.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or a similar role, with a preference for experience in post-construction or renovation clean-up.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including their appropriate use and safety measures.
- Ability to handle a variety of cleaning equipment and tools efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to excellence in cleanliness and order.
- Good physical condition, capable of performing demanding cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions precisely.
- A team player attitude, ready to collaborate with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in cleaning or maintenance is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to various job sites within the region.
Requirements
Joining The Renov Team means becoming part of a dedicated group committed to transforming spaces with quality and integrity. To ensure we meet our high standards and client expectations, we require our contractors to meet the following criteria:
Tools and Equipment: Possession of the necessary tools and equipment for assigned jobs is essential. For specialized tasks requiring tools or equipment not owned by the contractor, it is their responsibility to lease or rent these at their own expense.
Transportation: Reliable transportation, preferably a truck or van, is required to transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
Valid Identification: Contractors must have a valid Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) or Social Security Number (SSN). Ownership of a registered company is not a requirement.
Contractor-to-Contractor Agreement: A contractor-to-contractor agreement must be signed with The Renov Team, outlining the working relationship, expectations, and responsibilities.
Mandatory Course Completion: Completion of a specific course provided by The Renov Team is required, designed to align contractors with our quality standards, processes, and values.
Insurance and Bonding: Contractors must be insured and bonded. These requirements protect against potential accidents or damages and ensure a level of professionalism and security for our clients.
Licensing: Appropriate licensing is required, although the specifics may vary by state. The Renov Team will inform contractors of the necessary licenses for their work scope and location. If assistance is needed in obtaining insurance, bonding, or licenses, we offer support and guidance through the process.
